Students who successfully complete either Advanced Placement (AP) or College Level Examination Program (CLEP) examinations shall be granted transfer credit, as predetermined by the respective department chairs. Students must request that an official transcript of their grades (a copy of a grade report is not acceptable) be sent to this college. Students contemplating taking an AP or CLEP examination should be aware that Alfred State requires the student to take the “Subject” examination and, if applicable, the optional essay section.
